Baller’s Baby by Saylor Bliss
🏀 SLAM DUNK! 🏀
I just finished reading Baller’s Baby, my first story by Saylor Bliss; but I hope it’s not the last!
When you start reading you won’t want to put it down until the end. It was an emotionally bouncing, and exciting story that throughout has something tossed into your court that you don’t expect. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review, however it’s going on my TBRA Shelf (to-be-read-again); I’ve already read it twice! Skila and Kiptyn have had rough lives but everything happens in its own time.
After Skila suffers heartbreak in Atlanta, her best friend Lisa offers to let her move in with her in L.A. for a fresh start in life. They go out for a night on the town where Skila falls into Kiptyn’s lap. Even though she’s immediately drawn to him, because he’s a playboy and he reminds her of someone she walks away from him. Her boss in Atlanta hated to lose her but he’s able to get her transferred as a sports writer at LA’s biggest newspaper. Her first job is to interview the elusive Kiptyn Price of the Bolts. She cannot believe it’s him again.
Kiptyn’s born with pure basketball talent; a bad boy who grew up in Atlanta’s streets, but turns it around to become a star player in the NBA. He’s an arrogant player on the court and a playboy off, until Skila falls into his lap and then walks away. Kiptyn doesn’t give interviews, he has his agent answer their questions instead. He spots Skila in the sea of reporters he says he’ll give an exclusive interview to one reporter and he picks her, but she runs away from him again. Kiptyn is used to women falling at his feet, not running from him.
Will Skila interview Kiptyn in order to keep her job? Why does this one, and more importantly why does he care? What does fate have in store for these polar opposites? You’ll want to read on to find out! In this HEA there are lots of twists, turns that seem like a roller coaster ride, especially when they crest the hill! I give this story 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Due to sexual content and adult language this novel is recommend for readers 18 and older.
