THE HITMAN’S PREGNANT BRIDE by Alyse Zaftig
I just finished reading The Hitman’s Pregnant Bride, this is my first book by Alyse Zaftig, but it won’t be my last. It is well written with unexpected twists and turns around the corner of each page. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it from start to finish within one afternoon.
Phoebe grew up dancing and loved by her parents, but sheltered from her father’s FBI work. Andreas grew up in the foster care system, without the love and support of his own family. They meet, fall in love, get married and start their own family. Phoebe’s father does not like Andreas and gives him a hard time anytime they are together. Andreas spoils Phoebe by bringing her breakfast in bed and makes her something special each night before coming home from the restaurant. Phoebe thinks Andreas works as a chef in a restaurant, but has a secret from his wife; he’s a hitman. She finds his hidden documents, knows he’s keeping secrets & has a bad feeling she doesn’t know who her husband really is; he comes home and she’s gone. Who has her, who’s the cause of her disappearance and where’d they take her? You’ll have read it to find out, but you’ll love it. This is a terrifyingly exciting HEA that’s meant for readers 18 and older due to explicit sexual content and adult language! This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
