GRIT by J.C. VALENTINE
•Can the past stay that way?
WOW!! Valentine has done it again! This isn’t just your regular MC book, from page one it was a complete fight any time I had to put this book down, I just wanted to keep reading. From prologue to the last page I couldn’t wait to turn the page to see what was happening next! I’ve already read it twice! I canNOT wait for more stories in this series…. There’s business let unfinished HOWEVER, it is NOT a cliffhanger!
Gabby moved back home with her parents to start fresh and escape her past. She finished her degree and is now a brand new kindergarten teacher, first day jitters aren’t just for students. Falling in love, starting a relationship, or ANYTHING of the sort is the not only the furthest from her mind, but her plans! But when one of her students and his holy hell, melt the tires on his motorcycle hot, she doesn’t know what to do! Her parents have always taught her to stay away from those type of dangerous trouble ridden men. She thinks he’s a typical worthless, dangerous biker, but could Blake really be like that with the way he’s raising his son as a single parent?
Blake cannot stand cheaters and liars. When the mother of his son and now ex-girlfriend leaves their son home alone, disappears for days and then comes back thinking everything is fine. He kicks her out and is done with relationships. Now he’s not only the Prez of the Spartan Riders Club, but a single father which is something he never thought he’d be. Not only is he late getting Ash to school on the first day, but then he’s late picking him up as well. He knows he’s messed up, but hell he’s trying! Which is when he meets Ms Gabby, Ash’s teacher….she’s like a witch casting a spell on him from the minute he set eyes on her, but she’s way out of his league.
Blake and Gabby just cannot get around their attraction for each other. They’ve both got secrets, but whose is more dangerous than the other? This book will not only make your heart stop and stutter a few beats, but it’s sweet, intensely sexy, funny, what else could you ask for? I can only imagine all the stories/characters that fight for attention everyday in Valentine’s mind! Due to sexual content, adult language and situations this novel is recommended for readers 18 and older. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
