Fall Into Temptation (Blue Moon Book Two) by Lucy Score

β€’Forbidden fruit
Although this is the 2nd book in the Blue Moon Series, and my first Lucy Score book. I didn’t feel lost by not reading book 1. However I WILL be reading it to find out if I missed anything as well as book 3, and any others that follow. To say I loved it is an understatement! It flowed beautifully. I laughed, cried, smirked (as my husband says), put off laundry, dishes, picking up kids, going to sleep, everything in life was put on hold or delayed as long as possible so I could keep reading!
Beckett is not only Blue Moon’s Mayor, but a lawyer as well, and he’s damned good at both! He’s a bachelor by choice, his last girlfriend went crazy on him when he ended their relationship because she decided within a few weeks of dating he was her forever man. So after a relaxing Caribbean sun filled vacation he pours himself into his work. While he’s gone his paralegal rented out his guesthouse to the new yoga studio owner, a single mother with two kids.
Gianna moved to Blue Moon with her 2 kids after a divorce from her selfish musician now ex-husband, to be closer to her father and to get to know his lady friend. She takes over an existing yoga studio, rents a guest house (but hasn’t met her vacationing landlord yet) and starts to get settled. *(Blue Moon β€”with its good vibes and quirky traditions β€”would be the fresh start that she needed.β€” direct quote)*
Blue Moon is a small, quirky, close-nit, but nosey community. When Beckett & Gianna meet for the first time, they are instantly attracted to each other, but have to keep a professional, uncomplicated relationship. However they keep thinking of the other as well as being pushed together over and over, especially since his mother and her father are dating. Forbidden fruit they want each other because they cannot have each other, what will they do? Can they keep their hands (and other parts) to themselves or are they on a collision course toward each other? You’ll have to read Fall Into Temptation to find out. This book is full of love, laughter, fun, but also tough life decisions and heart ache. But it’ll be worth your time, and you won’t want to put it down until you finished. Due to sexual content this novel is recommended for readers 18 and older. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
{**fav passage** When life threw you curve ball after curve ball, eventually you had to hit one of them out of the park}
