SWAY by Adriana Locke
Sway is WOW no other way to put it other than WOW!!! I absolutely loved it! I was on the edge of my seat wondering how Barrett’s gubernatorial election would turn out, as well as how Alison would continue to react to it with the issues of her past. Once again Adriana weaves another story that you cannot put down, let alone turn pages fast enough to see what happens next! Now we sit and wait for her next installment of a wonderful, albeit sexy, hot as hell, loving family that goes ALL IN with everything they have in them not only as an individual but as a family….. The TOTAL PACKAGE! I canNOT wait for SWING, Lincoln’s story that’ll come out winter of 2016!!
Barrett Landry the Mayor of Savannah (aka the Most Eligible Bachelor) is running neck and neck in the gubernatorial race against Homer Hobbs. He’s trying to play the game against people who have no rules. He makes women swoon over him without even trying he’s just that sexily hot. Politics equals power, but it also equals fortune, a bit of fame, and a lot of women, and these men take full advantage of it all, including Landry. That is until he meets Alison, the one woman who wants to run from him instead of killing each other to get a chance to be with him.
Alison’s a single mother who’s working two jobs to take care of her son, but also going to school for journalism. After working her ass off to pay her now ex husbands way through school, he said she was nothing and beneath him as soon as he became a judge. She’s determined to support her son on her own, she won’t be swayed by any man. Then she’s face to face with Barrett Landry, who’s this crazy mix of power and sexiness, it almost makes her high. His smile makes her knees go weak, the air between them crackles, his voice’s like being wrapped in a warm blanket, but his touch makes her body shiver. Alison tries to remind herself he’s only a man, but he’s still another politician!
But when they’re alone he’s different, he relaxes. It’s like he TRUELY sees her. But is he sincere or is it all to advance his political career? How will Alison’s son be affected by this, what are his thoughts? You’ll have to read SWAY to find out, but it’ll be worth the time you take to read it! Due to explicit sexual content and adult language this novel is recommended for readers 18 and older. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
