EVERYTHING STOLEN by Sophia Scarlet
Jeremy awakens feeling like he’d been run over by a Mac truck. He doesn’t understand at first that he’d just awakened from a 4-year coma and everything has continued to move on without him. He’s in an out of the way hospital, the first word out of his mouth is the love of his life, Sylvie. He cannot get to her fast enough. However when his brother comes to see him, his whole world crashes around him, but he refuses to give up. He needs to know what happened to him and he enlists Sylvie’s help to do it.
Sylvie has been through hell and back. Her childhood was anything but good but then she finds the love of her life. She and Jeremy have an instantaneous combustible connection, then he just disappears. She cannot find him anywhere, even after hiring a PI, she comes up empty. (She fears he left her.) Sylvie finds out she’s pregnant shortly after Jeremy’s gone missing, his wealthy but snobby parents think she’s only after their money and status. Even before Jeremy’s disappearance, they looked down on her; she’s beneath them and their son needs someone worthy of their stature. Jeremy never thought that though, he only had eyes for Sylvie. Sylvie had to rebuild her life, not only for herself, but for her son. She ends up marrying Silas, Jeremy’s family lawyer.
Four years later Jeremy awakens and shows up on her doorstep. She’s caught totally unaware, but her husband had found out and didn’t tell her. What happened to Jeremy, what does this mean for the love they shared? How does their son play into their combined lives now? Who knew what and when? Jeremy has been through so much and all he wants is the love of his life and now his son to be his and things to go back to the way they were when he disappeared. Honestly he wants things to be the way he expected when he “woke-up”. To him, it’s like he fell asleep @ work and woke up the next day (or later the same day after a nap), he just wants the love if his life back, she’s his whole life. But he’s trying HARD to let her live her life, he doesn’t want to hurt her any more than his disappearance/coma already has. But he’s still totally in love with her.
