Caught by the Blizzard (Tellure Book 1) by Adele Huxley
•Intense
Great beginning to an intense story! This is my first Adele Huxley book, but it won’t be my last! Liz is running from her painful past and trying to figure out how to start fresh. Bryan is trying to figure out how to cope with the painful tragedies in his past. When they meet its an instant connection that neither of them know what to do with.
After her mothers death, her double mastectomy to my which caused her father to sell their family home to pay for. Liz just wanted to get the money to buy back their home for him, he’s lost too much. Liz came to Colorado because she wanted time to reconnect with her best friend Kayla and figure out how to get her life back on track as and maybe learn how to ski like her mother did. Things are looking up for her, she even meets Bryan, this sexy as hell guy who confused the hell out of her. Now her past is catching up with her, her ex Rick shows up on the mountain fresh out of prison. How did he not only get out, but find her? He’s demanding she follows through with their arrangement. What will this mean to the newly budding relationship she’s building with Bryan?
Bryan came back to Tellure Hollow to conquer his demons. If he cannot be who he was born to be “The Blizzard”- the Olympic skier who tore up the slopes .. then who can he be? He wants to be himself not who he used to be. He’s hoping the small town he knew growing up will help him better than any therapist ever could. He didn’t care if he’s destined to ski only the bunny trails, at least he’s back on the slopes. Then he meets this gorgeous woman, who for the first time in forever stirs something in him. Has destiny brought them together so Liz can help mend his broken heart? Will he be able to keep her safe in the process?
To find out how they reconcile their pasts you’ll have to read CAUGHT BY THE BLIZZARD. It does end on a cliffhanger of sorts, thankfully SAVED BY THE BLIZZARD is ready to be read now… I’m off to read it! Adele has written an extremely intense new adult, romantic suspenseful thriller. This is written as a dual POV by the strong willed characters. It’s set in Colorado during the winter season in a skiing town around the Christmas holiday. Snuggle up under the covers or by the fire and sit back and get ready for the ride. The complete series is now available. Due to sexual and adult language and situations such as violence this novel is recommended for readers 18 and older. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

•The Terror Continues
What a great continuance of Liz and Bryan’s story. This poor couple have been through hell and back emotionally and physically before they even arrive at the nightmare that awaits them while they’re trying to put their lives back together in Tellure Hollow.
Liz and Bryan have escaped Rick for now, but know he’s out there and coming for her. Liz’s best friend Kayla just cannot seem to get it through her head that Liz wants nothing to do with Rick, or that he’s bad news and out to hurt her. Kayla thinks Rick and Liz have just had a misunderstanding and can “talk it out”… Liz helped put him in prison to gain some space and time for herself to try and figure out how to get her life back on track, yeah he doesn’t want to just talk. He wants retribution for her helping the prosecution lock him up. Who’s side is Kayla really on? Noah is definitely helping and on Rick’s side, thankfully Liz has Bryan. But will he stick around after he finds out the complete truth?
Bryan is starting to get his life back on track, but still hasn’t told Liz about his past. Will Liz stick with Bryan after she finds out his past and who he really is or will she go running back to the mountain? And what will happen to the life he’s building if she does? You’ll have to read SAVED BY THE BLIZZARD to find out.
Adele has written an extremely intense new adult, romantic suspenseful thriller with lots of twists and turns adding the way. This is written as a dual POV by the strong willed characters. It’s set in Colorado during the winter season in a skiing town around the Christmas holiday. Snuggle up under the covers or by the fire and sit back and get ready for the ride! I cannot wait to read book 3, will this couple ever have the happily ever after they deserve? At least at the end of this one they have a happy for now. The complete series is now available. Due to sexual and adult language and situations such as violence this novel is recommended for readers 18 and older. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

~ “I’ve started to change my mind about scars,” I said pulling my knees up to my chest. “Sure, they’re ugly reminders of a shitty time in your life, but they’re a good reminder. They announce to the world that you went through something so difficult, it left a permanent mark

•Great Bundle
What an intense story! As these are my first Adele Huxley books I’m glad these two are bundled together. This poor couple have been through hell and back emotionally and physically before they even arrive in Tellure Hollow. They not only want to forget but leave their pasts behind them and start fresh. However Liz’s nightmare past comes to see her on the mountain. Can they work past their inner demons and build a life together or will they fall back into the hole that brought them here to begin with? Will Bryan be able to protect Liz from the danger that followed her? Which side will the towns people pick, The Blizzard and his out of town girlfriend or the rich new owners of the ski mountain?
